Hilti ON!Track asset management tech enhances CTSL Spill Specialists' project management
With teams operating and travelling across the UK, responding quickly to spills and managing an ever-increasing number of remediation projects nationally, it's essential that CTSL Spill Specialists personnel are able to access the right equipment for every job.
Having invested in quality Hilti kit for teams across our UK depots, we have now upgraded to use the Hilti ON!Track asset management system which will support our teams in keeping track of the equipment they're carrying, increase efficiencies and allocate resource appropriately.
Hilti tools work well for our buildings and remediation work, with good vibration control and safe, reliable operation. ON!Track is a digital system utilising Bluetooth connectivity, with all assets tagged and managed online through apps on our team's phones, tablets or desktops. At a glance, teams can view the equipment they're carrying in a van or in a depot, see who's using specific equipment, whether tools are in need of maintenance, repair or calibration and even whether team training or certificates for operation are required.
Project Managers can appropriately allocate equipment to the correct personnel, ensuring teams have the kit they need for their specific projects in the right place at the right time. This prevents frustration on site where the correct equipment isn't to hand, or where equipment is in need of repair or calibration, progressing projects efficiently by minimising avoidable delays and downtime.
ON!Track also reduces loss and thefts, identifies kit which is under or overutilised and allows us to carry out fast and accurate inventory checks.
