Increased demand for tank installation work led the business to grow, encompassing bespoke tank fabrication, installation and management and control system design. With established relationships and an excellent reputation, clients invited CTSL to undertake maintenance and clean-up work. Ian has since grown the business to incorporate Environmental Consultancy services through CTSL Spill Specialists in England, Scotland and Wales, and Gaea Environmental in Northern Ireland and ROI.

Working closely with major UK insurers and loss adjusters, Eve’s background in drilling, site investigations and remediation on both commercial and residential sites, as well as her deep understanding of planning and environmental sector regulation, enables her to deliver expert environmental consultancy, claims management and remediation services across a multitude of sectors and environmental incidents throughout the UK.

With an HNC in Engineering, Iain manages the delivery of CTSL’s environmental claims services for insurer and loss adjuster clients, including the development of new technologies and techniques as well as specialist remediation building work to ensure that properties are restored to an excellent standard. With professional advice and hands-on experience, Iain expertly and sympathetically remediates environmental incidents which have affected land and property.

Having an established relationship with CTSL for some time prior to his appointment, Simon now oversees the Group’s finance, IT and digital systems including management reporting and KPIs, data protection and process improvement. Simon is particularly focused on connecting the business, helping our teams across the country communicate efficiently and effectively and helping the business grow through improved reporting visibility, system development and technology investment.

Joining CTSL in 2022 and with a keen focus on profitability, Alistair develops financial strategies, systems and processes that create streamlined, successful businesses. Alistair is based at our Head Office in Preston, working alongside our Directors and senior team to further strengthen our CTSL Group Finance department and allow for long-term scalability, growth and new opportunities.

Ann is responsible for the management of all accounts across CTSL’s group of companies, including sales and purchase accounts, credit control, payroll and accounts reconciliation. Taking care to deliver positive customer experiences and continually evolving and innovating with technology, Ann is an excellent relationship builder who establishes robust systems to keep up with the pace of our business’s development.

Supporting leading insurer and loss adjuster clients, and with a role encompassing site visits, costings, coordination and validation of works, Owain enjoys excellent relationships with occupiers and policyholders, ensuring that CTSL’s high standards of service are maintained throughout a project.

Based out of our Barnsley depot and working nationally, and with practical, hands-on construction expertise, Melvin now oversees the delivery of CTSL’s technical projects in the rollout of superfast fibre broadband throughout the UK.

Andrew has previously worked for two of the UK’s largest specialist environmental claims management companies as a Project Manager and has travelled extensively throughout the UK, working from Newcastle and Edinburgh before settling in Cambridgeshire (albeit remaining loyal to his Newcastle roots!). Andrew is uniquely qualified to understand a claim from the homeowner’s perspective, coming into the industry after suffering a significant kerosene spill at his own property.

A keen lover of the outdoors, Michael joined CTSL with Geo-environmental Engineering project experience as well as a strong scientific background in geology and physical geography studies. Michael enjoys working with our clients and policyholders and is committed to service excellence and positive outcomes on all of his projects.
