It was crucial for the policyholder to get the property up and running again quickly. Our Bathgate depot's remediation specialists reached Skye the following day and got to work, completing an Initial Site Assessment, reporting to our client on the condition of the property and impact of the oil spill, and recommending works required to restore the property's exterior to a good standard.
We excavated contaminated material in the garden, controlled the fuel spill and fully restored the garden within a month, enabling the guest house in this stunning part of Scotland to reopen for business.

Following a leak from the oil-fired boiler, CTSL Spill Specialists received an oil spill response callout to handle this internal domestic kerosene oil spill in Jedburgh, Scotland. We carried out our Initial Site Assessment, which resulted in oil retention in joists and flooring being identified in the property's kitchen and bathroom.
Our specialist remediation building and civils team removed the affected structures, including internal partitioning and flooring, removed materials and reinstated all areas to the excellent standards we're known for.

Affecting the property's masonry and timber cladding, our team surveyed the domestic oil spill and its impact before reporting quickly to the client and commencing remediation works to restore the site ready for the holiday season.
